5. Charles Street Car stop, which takes you right into the French quarter, the stop also happens to be right in front of the Voodoo BBQ - check out their reviews, the food was awesome.

7. one block walk to the St Charles Street car ($.40 senior rates for streetcar),1/2 block to Mia's Balcony with outdoor deck, big screen TV's to watch the games, and good reasonably priced food (great beer too), and two blocks to Delmonico's (Emeril Lagasse's).
