Stayed here one night Saturday April 17, 2010 with two children and it was probably the best hotel stay I have ever had- a cheerful and friendly staff, cool older bulding with a neat layout, beautiful coutryard, awesome loft room designs wtih balcony, convenient and quiet location, good continental breakfast, many quality restaurants and shops within a few blocks, etc. etc. Highly recommneded.

4. Was able to watch the fireworks that were @ the riverfront from the Hotel Balcony, There were quite a few of us watching.

5. one block walk to the St Charles Street car ($.40 senior rates for streetcar),1/2 block to Mia's Balcony with outdoor deck, big screen TV's to watch the games, and good reasonably priced food (great beer too), and two blocks to Delmonico's (Emeril Lagasse's).
