1. It is in a safe area and not all the noise of bourbon street, but only five minute walk away from the action.

3. It was hard to find a clean hotel with smoking rooms in the French Quarter so we opted to stay a block from the Quarter at the Best Western on Magazine street which was right across Canal Street into the quarter.

4. The hotel's within walking distance of world-famous Bourbon Street and all of its restaurants and bars, the river, the various street cars, etc. The room was okay: there were no concerns with the linen, the bathroom was also clean.

5. The brick walls in the rooms really keep noise levels down which is great after being out on Bourbon street until the wee hours.
