7. It WAS really nice that they had a 'bar' area in the back of the lobby- nice to have a drink or 2 (or hubby can wait there while us gals finish dressing) before heading out.

The next morning we got up late and went down to reception about 10.30 to see who were had been told was the manager the day before however she was sat in the lobby on a sofa talking to someone - so as not to be rude and interrupt her we decided to go out and see her later, however as we reached the door of the hotel she looked up and shouted across the hotel 'Bookit.

9. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating as we never left the room early in the a.m. Upon leaving our room for the day, we informed lobby personnel that housekeeping could go in and clean, and our room was nice and clean upon our return in the evenings.

10. We traveled with pets and although we both smoked, pets were not welcome above the 2nd floor which was understandable since the room was adjacent to the lobby atrium and smoking rooms were above the 2nd floor only.
