1. Lori on reception was particularly friendly and helpful, with check in, helping us to store luggage after check out, calling cabs and giving us general information etc. A receptionist and bellboy on one.

4. but be aware, on day one we parked just to check in and get settled and we wound up getting a ticket for being too close to an intersection, apparently in New Orleans you need at least 20 feet from the crosswalk.

7. Due to flight times, I arrived at the hotel almost 5 hours before check-in, assuming I would just check my bag but the helpful staff was able to accomodate my early arrival and check me into my room.

8. When my daughter and I tried to check in before lunch that day, the young lady at the desk also told us she was aware I wanted a lower room with a view - she did not think it would be a problem at that time.
