1. When we came back from dinner around 11pm(from the excellent but pricey Commander's Palace just two miles away), there was a line of cars in front of the hotel waiting to be parked.

3. Since parking seems to be the number 2 industry of New Orleans after tourism, it's hard to find and expensive when you do in downtown New Orleans(for example, there is a restaurant just across the street which charges $20 to valet, just for dinner!).
