1. I chose the hotel as an alternative to the selection of hotels that the conference was offering and in particular for the pool, which ended up being a huge mistake as the hotel was under major renovations which made the pool not available to guests - I thought it was unacceptable that nowhere on their own website or other booking websites was it mentioned that the pool was under renovation (they did offer the Marriot pool across the street as an alternative).

2. They do have a heated outdoor pool which looked nice, but is was unseasonably chilly, so we had no interest in swimming.

5. and a pool on 8th floor, nice to cool off some, not hughe but still nice!we had a good time there, and not far from anything, pretty much everything is walking distance from the sheraton.
