1. We were traveling with a cat, and all the staff were cheerful and tolerant about accepting pets, with no pet fees or deposits.

7. It was $18 on the menu (which is standard for '4 star' room service pricing but once you factored in taxes, tip, and $4 delivery fee (!) and 45 minute wait, it was $30.

9. Then we reserved several rooms for our family and although the bride was told we would get a disount valet fee we were charged full price because the sales rep that booked our reservation and gave this rate was on vacation and wouldn't be back until we checked out.

10. And you have to go ask the front desk to find out there is a downtown gym about a block from the hotel, and that the hotel will reimburse the $10 daily entry fee.
