1. The king-size, four poster bed was very comfortable and having a suite with lounge and wet bar made our five nights here like coming home after a busy day of sightseeing.

I booked a 'discount' room for a week night at the Lafayette on a budget expecting to walk into an old motel 6 looking room; My husband and I were quite surprised to walk into a victorian style suite complete with a sitting and dining area, 5 huge balcony windows with french doors, king size bed, antique, brass and mini/wet bar.

3. The room was well equipped with fridge, separate wet bar area, tv, safe etc. For some reason I couldn't get the shower to work but that may just have been me and I decided on a bath instead of calling reception.
