We stayed in the Lafayette for three nights in September, the hotel was lovely and we had a great time we fully intended to go back again next year, on leaving the hotel our bill was settled in full, we were very surprised when two months later two charges were applied to our credit card amounting to almost $600 dollars, we called the hotel on four occasions and were told that the manager G Schumann would get back to us, she never did, we were then told that she would e-mail us but she never did, we finally got most of the money refunded back to our credit card and on the same day another charge of over $400 dollars was added on to the card again finally i got to speak to the manager but she was of no help, i have now had to report the unauthorised charges to the fraud department of my credit card company and they are investigating, the situation is still ongoing and i have not even had an apology for all the inconvienience and stress the situation has caused me.
