1. You do hear the street car, but it is not an irritating sound to us.

3. Incredibly noisy if you are in a room at the front of the hotel where the St Charles street car line runs (conveniently perhaps) 24hrs a day.

7. Ask for a room on the backside of the hotel, or high up so you don't get much street noise.

8. Other than that we had a lovely time, wandering through the French Quarter, catching the bands on Frenchman's street, enjoying the lobster in the Royal House and having a Big Easy time of it.
