3. Even if the next time isn't as absolutely dreamy as this was (we were in a jacuzzi suite), we did see rooms on the other floors -- we explored quite a lot of the hotel -- and thought they were really an exceptional value for this Grand Dame.

10. The hotel isn't cheap, and without staying elsewhere in the french quarter I don't know if I'd necessarily say it was value for money but it was such a special trip that we were happy to treat ourselves.
