1. We stayed on Bourbon Street last year at the Royal Sonesta and that was nice too.

3. This is a great location too, you're one block from a good part of Bourbon street, and a block from the restaurants on decatur street.
"Just a great all around hotel, can't be beat by anyone else " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/19/2010 Vote
4. But the position is superb just a block or two away from everything, the river, bourbon street, cafe du monde etc etc. Once you've bit the bullet and waved goodbye to the car for $32.50 a day its definately the place to stay in Nawlins.
"Wow, what a position " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/14/2010 Vote
5. It was centrally located in the French Quarter and it was wonderful to be on Royal Street and not deal with the crowds, noise and traffic of Canal and Bourbon Streets (which were only a few blocks away).
"A beautiful conveniently located hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/8/2009 Vote
6. We just returned from a 3 night stay, and this hotel is in a great location in the French Quarter--on a quiet side street, just steps from Royal Street, a short walk to Jackson Square, and less than 2 blocks from Bourbon Street.
"Quiet, luxury hotel in a great location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/7/2009 Vote
7. From our 2nd floor, Royal Street balcony, we were lavished with constant and ever-changing live music that wafted gently upwards - including a fantastic harmonizing trio of men, guitarists, a pianist (who had rolled his upright into the street on a cart), and various instrument/vocalist ensembles.
"Perfect base to begin a New Orleans adventure " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/7/2009 Vote
8. Our room was large, pleasant and faced St Louis street.
"Great Place to Stay in the French Quarter " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/25/2009 Vote
9. It's on Royal Street, which is a very elegant street, and is central to everything, which makes an enormous difference when you're walking in the summer heat.
"Best Service of My Life: The Omni Royal Went Above & Beyond " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/14/2009 Vote
10. It's in the heart of the French Quarter, only a short walking distance from sights like Bourbon Street and the River Walk but far enough away from the noise that it feels nicely secluded.
"Wonderful hotel with some odd shortcomings " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/28/2009 Vote
