6. NO is fabulous for the night life and bars and restaurants are in abundance, you cannot walk a few steps from the hotel without seeing several choices, some do look a little run down on the outside but this is the charm of the french quarter, go inside you might be surprised, we ate at Pierre Maspero's for lunch opposite the hotel and the food was good and Mia our waitress was lovely plus also opposite the hotel is Napoleon's where he stayed but we did not eat in there.

10. We arrived, checked our bags in with the bellman, and went shopping, ate lunch, etc. We decided to stop by the front desk before heading to the superdome for the annual wine festival that we had tickets for, just to make sure a room was not available before heading over there.
