1. Food expensive, in fact I ordered a $ 6.00 carrott cake, and after all the service charges and taxes I ended up paying almost double the price - So I opted to walk around the area (decently safe) and find a more affordable place to eat.

7. The free Metro mover connects you north to Bayshore shopping (short walk) or a great eating area south in Mary Brickell center.

8. The Bayside Park is a nice walk from the hotel though you will have to cross extremely busy streets to get there unless taking the pathway by the riverwalk of the hotel.

9. The good: it's connected to the convention center and when you walk through there you can get to the metro, which is free.
