1. Even though the manager offered a free upgrade to a suite next time we are in Miami, I doubt I'd plan to pay to stay at the Conrad again, with so many other options in the area.

6. Let's just say I wrote a novel of an email to the manager of the hotel about all the things that went wrong during our stay, from no electricity in our room to lack of housekeeping to the fact we were charged twice on two different credit cards for our hotel stay.

8. I wrote the hotel before our arrival about my wife's birthday and thanks to Laura Padrino, VIP Relations Manager, and Sylvia Carrilo, Executive Assistant to the General Manager, we were greeted like visiting royalty.
