1. If you like staying in historic properties that take pride in their past and are also in step with the present (rooms have large flat-screen TVs, wireless connections), you'll like the Peabody.
"Never disappoints! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/19/2012 Vote
2. On top of the room charge, there's an added service fee per night that entitles you to access the WiFi and have one complementary cup of coffee in the morning.
"First Class Hotel. Although everything costs extra. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/28/2011 Vote
3. There is free coffee from 6 - 8am, free shoeshine, free newspaper and free wireless internet, 'free' means a cost of 11.95 a day, as we were on vacation the only thing we used was the internet.
"Overated " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/21/2011 Vote
4. I had a nice view of 2nd Street and a very strong and free wireless signal.
"Charming and Historic " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/10/2010 Vote
5. The only redeeming points are the free wifi and large flat screen tv with all the cable channels.
"Lousiest room key cards in the world " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/11/2010 Vote
6. There is a separate $10 per day charge for wireless internet, newspaper and free local calls.
"Classy Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/9/2009 Vote
7. There is plenty of duck-gifts on offer in the hotel lobby and the corner bar was really good value and free cheese (always a winner!) Only downside is the 'complimentary' wifi and paper service actually costs you $13 - cheeky and unnecessary.
"Beautiful hotel and brilliant ducks! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/28/2011 Vote
8. What really annoyed me was the additional $12 per day service charge for such things as wireless internet (I didn't have a PC so was charged to use the Fedex office), coffee (too early) shoeshine (I'm a tourist) and paper ($2 at best).
"Fancy lobby area, but be warned of the daily 'service' charge " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/9/2011 Vote
9. If I were able to turn it down, you still would get wireless, access to below super 8 style coffee service, and a sub-par to Usatoday near shopping news quality paper.
"Something Magical Here, but some management flaws " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/24/2011 Vote
10. Only issue is with the $9.95 per nite fee imposed for wireless, health club, etc. It is not an option but a requirement.
