all in all this is a very busy property; a lot of people come through to see the Ducks
walk
(my two year old loved it) and there is a ton of shopping right on the property; so be prepared for a crowd if it is the weekend.

Hotel guests have to fight for a position to see the duck
walk
just like any person that wanders in off the street.

The duck
walk
is a good draw but at twice a day and the fact that there are more non-guest and kids running around really detracts from the elegance of the hotel.
"Grand historical hotel that misses the mark on service. "

But I can stay at a less expensive hotel and get better customer service, and still
walk
inside to watch the ducks, shop at Lansky's, etc..
