I agree that the staff is not super friendly, but when I called the hotel later to disucss a
charge
, the accounting department was friendly.

In most cases, when a lousy hotel doesn't live up to your expectations, there's never a
charge
like this.

This dulled our experience a little since we didn't expect to see children in such an environment and at such a late hour We chose to have our car valet parked and had no major problems, aside from the $21/day
charge
.

Others in our party were upgraded to a suite, on a regular floor, for a nominal
charge
; but it's not what I would really call a 'suite.

Bring your own alcohol - not just to be cheap as the hotel bar is expensive but also because it is so busy that it is hard to get a drink - actually believe it or not room service drinks are probably the best deal considering the wait, crowds and cost - as long as you go ahead and order everything at once ($4 delivery
charge
+ tip every time).

Be sure to try to get a package deal where parking ($18 for self park $28 valet) and extras (perhaps breakfast) are included and note before going that the roof top deck is open and can be visited and that the hotel offers lots of extras that they will deliver to your room for no
charge
- look closely in the hotel book in the room - there is an insert with things that they will deliver from deodorant to a CD or DVD player for use on room.

My final bill showed a
charge
for lobby bar service I hadn't had, and this was dealt with easily upon my departure, with no argument.

On top of the room
charge
, there's an added service fee per night that entitles you to access the WiFi and have one complementary cup of coffee in the morning.

I asked why she had not disclosed this during our room price discussion and I was told that this was not a
charge
for any part of the room and that all guest pay this fee.

As others here have mentioned, they
charge
$11.95/day/room to get coffee in the lobby between 5:30-7:30AM, a newspaper, shoes shined, and access to the pool and gym.
