3. On arrival at the hotel, the valet parking boys were great, courteous and polite, we walked into the lobby which was beautiful, The 4 of us approched the reception desk, my receptionist was a happy smiling friendly lady , who greeted us warmly, the receptionist who greeted my cousin was expressionless, did not look up from her keyboard, and when told the rooms were booked as adjoing, she promptly said there were none available, she cut my receptionist dead when she said she would look, we then said well if they were not available we would like to beon the same floor, again before my receptionist could answer she replied there was none, and basically said we could take or leave it, after driving almost 250miles we decide to take, The bedrooms were tired, dreary and very worn, there were no tea/coffee facilities, no minibar, the bed extremely hard and lopsided, the bathroom was so small, that when using the toilet your knees touched the wall, the shower head was old and tatty , and the curtains worn and frayed, although there was an abundunce of towels and toiletries, This hotel was not worth the $250 paid for the room, and breakfast although great very expensive,.
