If you want my opinion, stay at the Holiday Inn across the road and just go in the Peabody to see the decor and the ducks, you'll save
money
and have a much more pleasant stay in Memphis.

The value is less due to price, and there are other decent hotels in the area if you'd like to save
money
(Hampton Inn is very nice for the price) but you owe it to yourself to try the Peabody at least once.

money
, perhaps in a not so friendly fashion.

Such even seems encouraged - non-guests come in to the hotel and spend
money
at the bar or retail shops.

Obviously the hotel is going to go for where the
money
is, but it does not bode well for the average guest or the integrity of the hotel itself.
