1. And lastly - while very courteous and helpful - the VALET service will run you $40 per night, so be prepared for the cost of parking in Los Angeles.

7. Most of the staff was wonderful: The parking valets, the bellman, the houseman, the waiters at Smeraldis (a nice restaurant in the lobby) and the man at the coffee stand were always cheery, friendly and accomodating.
