I would definitely recommend visiting the Biltmore as part of your trip to LA, but stay elsewhere - there is much better to be had for the
cost
of a room at this establishment.

The
cost
was $ 20.00, not bad since it includes coffee and juice.

The only negative I have is that the cocktail I was drinking, The Big Apple,
cost
twice as much in the cocktail lounge as it did in the restaraunt.

I ordered room service and it was prompt and hot -
cost
was reasonable for what I usually expect for room service - vegetarian pasta and soup for under $25 total including tip.

The breakfast was lovely at the Biltmore it
cost
18 dollars for eggs benedict but it was well worth it, I would also recommend the restaurant Smeraldis they do a 3 course meal for 35 dollars each.

I understand it`s a high business hotel, and the thought process is that people are on expense accounts - and who cares what things
cost
.

And lastly - while very courteous and helpful - the VALET service will run you $40 per night, so be prepared for the
cost
of parking in Los Angeles.

The bar did have live music, but not the quality that they used to have and the drinks
cost
a lot.
