1. He made our stay more enjoyable after a recommendation he gave us for a resteraunt in Long Beach and a connection he had with the manager to get us a beautiful city view on a last minute notice.

I am so frustrated I go talk to the manager and nicely explain had it been one thing I could live with my check in issues, but I had real issues with not being able to pull in to check-in and not being able to give the bellman my luggage, having to pull my luggage through a parking garage, through the mall and lastly having them take so long to answer the phone to be told to hold.

5. when I told the desk staff before leaving for dinner that there was still no A/C and the room largely sucked but I had given up on trying to get something decent I was told that the front desk manager, who swore she would call me after 10 minutes to make sure the room was OK (30 minutes ago) was on a conference call and couldn't talk to me.

8. They point out they are not part of the hotel and can't connect me, I ask to speak to the manager and he tries calling the front desk and no answer for him, he says 'hum this isn't any good but I'm sorry I can't get in touch with them either.

10. If i were the manager of a hotel and i was over-booked i would be offering to book people in nearby hotels at my own cost - not offer them rooms without beds.
