1. There is a cafe on the corner and also plenty of restaurants in Greektown (a few stops away on the people mover).

3. I booked a room at the Sheraton (former Pontchartrain) because of my fond memories of the Top of the Pontch and its jazz nights, the old Charlie`s Crab restaurant on the first floor and its beautiful antiquity.

10. Made reservations for the hotel restaurant with no problem, arrived at the restaurant several hours later to wait for nearly 10 minutes for someone to greet and seat us - it was not busy, we were just ignored.
