1. Their valet attendants were prompt, their in-house shuttle service wonderfully convenient & the overall location was just beautiful - a GEM of a spot in urban, downtown Detroit.

2. The building, I'm told by one of the valets, used to be the largest pharmaceutical company in the world and if you like antebellum-type pictures, you sure will love the art selected, at least in our room.

7. waited in a line of 6 cars for valet,,,there was a guy trying to get us to pay $20 for valet because it was a saturday night when we arrived.

8. Prior to arriving we decided we would use the valet since we were splitting the cost; it was also a nice service - I probably wouldn't pay $18 for it though.

9. From the valet, to the doorman to the front desk staff to the employees handing out complimentary water bottles (to the runners in a charity run going by the hotel Saturday morning) they were overwhelmingly friendly.
