1. But there is not a lot going on in this location in the winter - we saw a closed restaurant and brewpub within walking distance - that's about it.
"Super friendy staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/17/2009 Vote
2. That said, we were very pleased for the rate we paid -- I would recommend taking advantage of the shuttle (runs to 10:30 pm) to get downtown to casinos, restaurants, Ren Cen, Cobo Hall etc. Finding a cab back was not difficult at the casinos and Cobo.

4. It was brought to the room by Holly, who waited on me the next night in the hotel restaurant, and she was stellar both times - smiling, friendly, couldn`t have been nicer.

8. The only issue (and it is not a complaint) is that the hotel is fairly isolated, there doesn't seem to be any restaurants or stores nearby so a car is essential.

9. When we phoned downstairs to the front desk, the operator, or the restaurant, the phones were always busy.
