Cons: despite request for no feather pillows (took 45 mintues to track down 2 which were not bed pillows) room had feather pillows; comforter is also feather stuffed despite request for non-feather; wake-up call at 7:30 a.m. despite our request for no wake-up call; cleaning crew came to door and knocked at 8:00 a.m. despite 'Privacy' sign on door and then said that their records showed that we checked out at 3:52 a.m. when we only just checked in at 12:15 a.m. (how can you supposedly have a request for a wake-up call at 7:30 a.m. yet have supposedly checked out at 3:52 a.m.?); $18 mandatory valet parking charge (no self-park available despite having a lot right out front; luggage needs to be carried up a flight of stairs to main lobby (i.

Here`s a list of my pros and cons:Pros: view if on the Detroit River side (nice views of Belle Isle and the water); mere minutes from the middle of downtown Detroit; twelve foot ceilings; clean room; late check out (2 p.m. was no problem; friendly staff; Select Guest program offers free coffee, juice and newspaper to your door; quiet; complimentary large breakfast for two for inconvenience of no non-feather pillows; food.
