1. The hotel bar is a great spot for a quiet pint, and the restaurant is very good, if pricey.
"What a great time " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
2. The bar is decent and I love waking up and walking the old Arcade for coffee in the morning.
"Should be Booked Solid " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2012 Vote
3. You're also a stones throw from West 6th street and Ohio City - both of which have great bars, but West 6th is more for your 'bros.
"Second stay at Hyatt Regency - just as memorable and enjoyable " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/2/2012 Vote
4. Nice Bar.
"Cool hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/23/2012 Vote
5. After work was nice too as 4th Street has numerous nice bars and restaurants steps from the back door of the Arcade.
"Nice historic property in a central location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/27/2011 Vote
6. If 4th Street is a little too expensive for your tastes, just keep going and you'll run into a bunch of bars (like the Winking Lizard) near the stadium which I also enjoyed.

7. I would recommend the chocolate bar restaurant located in the arcade.

8. CONS: Room decor was really 'blah' -- the colors, the old, square furniture (as opposed to 'old world charm' or anything even remotely luxe); lighting in room was not optimal; there was an empty corner where it looked like there should have been a chair; the closet door was so industrial looking that it could have been a fire escape -- I thought, 'really?'; also, the closet door took up too much space when opened and actually blocked the room door; no in-room coffee; the extra blanket looked worn and was out of shape -- should have been retired and replaced; no phone book; there was a power outtage that lasted several hours in the early AM (3am - 7:45am) / no water while power out / peeked out in the hallway and the emergency lighting at the stairs was out / power came on for 10 minutes and went off again, the emergency lighting was now on at the stairs (so seems like the emergency back up doesn't last very long); I could be wrong, but I couldn't find wired Internet access in the room; I liked the 1890 bar but felt like there could be some modernization there -- for example, there were 4 TVs above the bar and from where I sat only one was a new flat panel -- the others were older, big models; the whole 'Arcade' ambiance was pretty but nothing truly impressive -- the shops there were nothing I would patronize (except maybe the manicurist); my room in the tower section overlooked the Arcade and that roof needs some work; cost of taxi from CLE airport on hotel's website says $25 -- it was $33 excluding tip; the worst part of the hotel, I thought, is the whole lobby arrangement -- it is tucked into a corner and then if you have a tower room you have to walk all they way down to the other end of the hotel -- which would have been easier had there been ANY signage along the way.
"Not that impressed " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/30/2010 Vote
9. If you don't have time for a sit-down breakfast at the restaurant, there's a neat coffee bar on the street level with amazing pastries.
"Spent a good 30 days in this hotel in a year - one of my favorites. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/19/2010 Vote
10. There are also a few pretty good restaurants and bars within walking distance in the surrounding area.
"Pretty hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/14/2009 Vote
