1. Check in: As with probably all Guests we asked for a room away from the construction site, they could not help but offered us a suite on the other side,additional cost $100 per nite,not accepted as we were staying 8 nightsRooms: Sold as a suite only hotel,rooms are not suites and have a sink and microwave but not stove,very small rooms.

2. I thought the cost of the food around the pool was reasonable and to be expected, the valet parking was a bit pricey but the second day we caught on to parking in the lot across from the hotel in front of the Nikki Beach Club and its paking by the hour and from midnight to 9am its free.

4. It costs about $5 cab to Lincoln Road Mall or you can walk in about 15-20 minutes.

6. Pool was great; beach access a short walk; the 10$ daily added resort fee is far cheaper than $15 per person for chairs + umbrella cost you'd incur on your own on the beach - who lays on towels on sand anymore.

8. Contrary to what previous reviews said, we were not charged extra for beach chairs and towels--perhaps management heard complaints and just built in that in room cost.

There is a South Beach Local Bus which runs every 10 mins and stops very regularly and you can get on and off as you wish and costs 25c per trip, Other things to recommend are Prime One Twelve, a steak and seafood restaurant opposite the Hotel (booking is adviseable), Big Pink a very popular restaurant around the corner for good, well priced food with huge menu and stays open till 5am , Teds Hideaway next to Big Pink is a Sports Bar and is fun for a beer.

10. We found out the next day that they have these chair and umbrella rentals on the rest of the beach, but it will cost you $9 for just the umbrella which you must set up yourself.
