1. Rain is fun, but if you have the opportunity to book a table I would do it as it gets packed fast, making it hard to walk around or get to a bar for a drink.

4. Pros: -Easily accessible via car due to being off strip (con as well, though)-Fantasy Tower rooms are decent, even the 'standard' ones-Gym & spa facilities, especially @ Palms Place (which you may also use when you purchase a pass) are very nice-Sportsbook-Majority of employees are very friendly, especially the servers in the buffetI-Food court includes McDs, Nathans, pizza, chinese, Leaf & Bean & blizz for quick food options-Excellent dinner options (N9ne, Nove italiano,Alize, Gardunos, even 24/7 Cafe, etc)-Movie theater attachedCons:-Off strip- not within walking distance -VERY limited shuttle (actually, unsure if there even is one any longer)- walked across to Gold Coast/Rio and used theirs-Clubs draw the usual 20-something crowds on the weekends- not really a major issue(I'm in my early 40s, but really don't mind- they have so much still to learn!) HOWEVER.

10. i would say try get a place on the strip like MGM or wynn as you walk out into everything but the price would be much more.
