1. Having cocktails, just park it and catch a bus/cab/shuttle, and you'll probably still come out ahead - Palms had ample self-parking and great valets.

6. Depending on your sobriety level, always a cheap city to rent a car in and use all the valets and self-parking to get around - get a GPS and you'll be able to explore on the cheap.

7. I do not need drink coupons because I get free drinks while gambling, I don't use the valet because I don't take a car to Vegas, and I don't use the phone in the room because I have a cell phone.

8. Somthing new for us the year was the 'Resort fee' of $16/day the hotel said this covered the valet and concierge service as well as the $15 drink cards we had been given each day.
