1. I understand the Casino is under new management and noticed some cost cutting items, i.e. cheap toiletries.

4. We took the shuttle to the strip during the day, and would take a cab after the shuttle stopped at 8pm (cost about $10 each way).

5. Like I said, it's a good hotel, just factor in the cost of cab rides if you're thinking about saving some money and staying there.

6. We had a great time staying at the Palms, are only complaint was that it wasn't on the strip and going back and forth to the strip and other hotels was costly, but the pool parties at the palms and the spa were GREAT, I highly recommend it.

7. If I had chosen to use the in room wireless Internet it was $14.99 per day, this seems excessive, even in Las Vegas where a bottle of water can cost $5.
