1. we are marriott rewards members, so we got a very good rate and we always enjoy the bedding at marriott hotels.

5. I was unable to book a room for this year's event because of the steep cost of the rooms unfortunately so I am staying down the street at a much more reasonable nightly rate though my preference would be the JW Marriott.

The hotel was in an even better location than I originally thought, the rate was unbelievable for a major city, we really loved the breakfast (omelet station which included a crab omelet which was great and prepared by a wonderful woman who got hem done quickly), and the kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

10. So this rate under $150 was especially reasonable for a super-elegant, clean, very well-located hotel in DC--you're on the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
