1. the location is perfect - ony 10mins walk from the park with a decent ihop across the street.

2. We would take a mid-day break and go back to the hotel for rest, a swim and lunch, it was much cheaper to pick up a pizza across the street than to eat in the park.

5. I may have also been a little spoiled as we decided to arrive a day early and the Portofino did not have a room available, so we stayed at the Howard Johnson Plaza down the street, which was wonderful.

6. There are some restaurants real close, accross the back parking lot and accross the street, kids eat free, but they're horrid.
