The only thing they could do better is charge less for overnight
parking
and put a nice flat screen in the rooms.

The other thing is that

Lobby small, valet
parking
overpriced for area @ $50 a day--cheaper public
parking
is available within 1-2 blocks.

Getting a good deal on the room will help take the sting out of the $53.00 a night
parking

The only con was the
parking
since we had to valet it took a while to get our car, but we hardly needed it since we were near Union Square.

Pros:- The hotel is a beautiful landmark- The room service staff was very friendly- Large walk in closet- Request for more towels was handled quickly and hotel staff that delivered them was friendlyCons- Dismal front desk staff- Noisy because of the cable cars- Small bathroom with very little counter space- Only 2 small thin towels were provided for 3 guests-
Parking
is $57/night- If you walk to the hotel, it's 5 steep blocks uphillTip- If you are running the SF marathon, be prepared to walk 5 steep blocks uphill afterwards or bring $5 to ride the cable car up to the hotel.
