2. Lobby was nicely decorated, valet attentive and front desk helpful (particularly when removing from the hotel bill the additional night parking they had mistakenly added).

4. In return for conserving their supplies etc, you recieve Adagio Bucks- a card which is good for $5 off any hotel service like internet, room service, honor bar etc. I had my room cleaned twice out of my 4 day stay and got $10 in Adagio Bucks which I then used toward my hotel bill.

5. next day i replaced the coins for a 5 dollar bill, total 9 dlls, and maid finally took it.

6. one day, i didnt have change to tip the maid, and i leave 4 dlls in one dollar bills and 2 more dollars in 25 coins, total 6 dollars, and the maid didnt take it.

7. Cons:- Though the hotel offered us a discount on the valet parking, it was obvious that their monitoring of our use of the valet was totally based on human reporting (or guessing) as we found that they'd also included the night when we parked in the other garage in the final bill.

8. Just be aware that should you require a taxi to the airport at the end of your stay, the concierge wil try and get you to go in a 'limousine' which is conveniently parked outside and will cost you twice as much as a standard taxi fare and you may not find this out until you are dropped off and hit with the bill.

10. If you want to stay in a clean fairly well equipped hotel near Union Square at a good value price then this fits the bill.
