The final nail in the coffin was the goat-rodeo of confusion to pick-up our Hertz rental (the hotel advertises having a Hertz rental location as part of the hotel, which is actually three blocks away and a real challenge to navigate in a parking deck and then to find the way back in the rental car to the hotel through all the one-way streets to load luggage).
