1. If we were paying, I think the Marriott down the street is almost as nice and more cost effective.

2. Also, the fridge like in many hotels is on a timer, dont dare touch anything in it or you will be charged after 15 seconds, I was however very pleased to find out they had extra refrigerators available for no additional cost.

6. Just watch for some of the extra costs snuck in if your hosting an event - we were a very large conference also staying at the hotel - despite all of the $ spend that week I know we were charged for every small thing.

8. You can park in Union Square parking for $34 per night, but no in and out, so if you want to stay in the city, you will have to endure the cost.

9. Stayed in a junior suite for nominally more cost - room 2022 , which ended up being a corner room on top floor of rooms with a view of city and Golden Gate/Marin Headlands.

10. All in all, I would consider this hotel to be a spacious, clean, quiet island in the sea of noise and humanity of SF's downtown, and found the additional cost to be worth the price.
