Chris at the front desk offered a complimentary upgrade to a 29th floor room ( we had chosen the upgrade to a lakeview but certain floors are key-entry only so I assume they are the preferred accomodations) and with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan, and for our special occasion, also sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne which arrived with a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries.
