1. There is free wifi throughout the hotel, but there are a couple of macs in the lobby as well, if you have not brought your own laptop or other device.

What we found to be the most impressive aspects of PUBLIC Chicago are:* the beautiful public (no pun intended) spaces - lobby, Pump Room, the Library & Coffee bar* GREAT service from staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful, and responsive* free WiFi throughout the hotel as well as 4 iMacs for guests' use in the lobby* very clean, modern, minimalist decor in rooms* some of the best towels I've ever used in any hotelThings we a little bothered or put off by were:* tiny bathrooms* no dresser in a Standard Queen room* location - the hotel is located in the beautiful/quiet Gold Coast, but it's not as convenient as many other major Chicago hotels.

8. Rooms were wonderul, great amenities and the free wifi was definitely a nice touchps No idea what the previous reviewer was on about regarding lack of taxis - we had to use taxis frequently throughout our trip and never had to wait longer than 1 minute for one to be flagged down for us.
