1. The restaurant is a wonderful place to eat - the decor is outstanding and the view to leafy streets very pleasant - we also had dinner one night, which was great.

What we found to be the most impressive aspects of PUBLIC Chicago are:* the beautiful public (no pun intended) spaces - lobby, Pump Room, the Library & Coffee bar* GREAT service from staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful, and responsive* free WiFi throughout the hotel as well as 4 iMacs for guests' use in the lobby* very clean, modern, minimalist decor in rooms* some of the best towels I've ever used in any hotelThings we a little bothered or put off by were:* tiny bathrooms* no dresser in a Standard Queen room* location - the hotel is located in the beautiful/quiet Gold Coast, but it's not as convenient as many other major Chicago hotels.
