1. I would recommend parking a few blocks away vs the $48 next door fee(unless in/out service is important).

4. Upon checkout (this time the front desk attendant was very nice), we got to witness the valet take a customers vehicle and proceed to spin out and squeal the tires around every turn as they made their way up the parking garage.

5. We went to pick it up at 3:30 and were charged an additional $20 (a total of $70 for less than 24 hours of parking!) The parking attendant woman kept saying their sign says to pick the car up by 2pm.

6. The biggest problem I had with the Crown Plaza was that the parking lot the next day took 2 and a half hours to get us our car, even though we called from our room to make sure they would have it ready after we checked out.

7. We had to sit in the lobby for 2 and a half hours with a bored toddler, and when we complained to the front desk, they said that the parking didn't belong to them, so they had no control over it.

8. When I menationed it to the man at the front desk he said,'Oh that's too bad!' Also, make sure you contact the hotel prior to booking as the parking rate was $48 per night.

9. We realize that we were parking in Chicago and that parking is a premium but it was an unexpected surprise at check in.

10. We drove to Chicago and used the hotel valet -parking was $48/day which is typical for this area - plus you have in/out service - which we did use once and the car was waiting when we came down to the lobby.
