3. Further, my guest room was nice enough - high-threadcount sheets, dressing area, bathrobes, marble bathroom with WC, big tub and separate shower, etc. Plus, I got free WIFI because I'd followed others' advice on TripAdvisor and joined the (free) FAIRMONT PRESIDENT's CLUB before I checked in.

8. I noticed housekeeping looked like they were equally as unsucessful as maintenance must`ve been in because there was a new and different plug installed when I returned to the room late in the day, though nobody had bothered to actually clean the tub in the process.

9. The one small annoyance during the 2 night stay was after relaxing in the big tub I turned the button but the recessed plug didn`t pop up to let the water drain and without any fingernails couldn`t get any grip to pull it up for after a few minutes gave up.
