1. I would suggest a high floor like other reviewers have mentioned to get a way from the street noise and get a better view.

2. I got a room on the 3rd floor with park view (which was nice) but I don't know if it's the glazing or the walls but the acoustic insulation is not really up to scratch which means you will get a lot of noise (it's NYC after all.

5. We just spent two nights at the Gramercy Park and it was amazing - from the front desk, housekeeping staff, bar(s) and roof top restaurant (amazing view and terrific food).
