1. I find that the continental breakfast / brunch is rarely good and up to what I'm expecting in hotels but this one was really really good.

Lamb chops tender, and cooked perfectly, wonderful dessert, had to wait a bit, and not that busy at this time of evening, waitstaff bit slow, other than that, the hotel itself has unusual touches throughout the Hotel, the lightbulb chandelier, the paintings, unusual touches thru out, and brunch on Gramercy terrace, a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

7. , not a closet but not enough space for 2)- hip bar with good people watching / attractive clientele - free internet / wireless in the room- Mario Badescu amenities - good mobile reception inside the room- reservation made my concierge resulted in complementary dessert at Craftbar (for brunch)The minuses:- service at the rooftop restaurant (at least for brunch) is about as bad as you can get.

8. I had called in advance of our stay to book a table for dinner and brunch; the concierge had promised to email confirmation of this to me, but she didn't do this, and indeed, when we arrived at the restaurant there was no reservation.

10. The Manager did comp us brunch at The Terrace, which was divine, but we drove home to PA and had to have naps because we were so tired from out disturbed sleep.
