The hotel
lobby
is nice but, as the rest of the hotel, dark.

We must have eaten upwards of 30 free chicken tenders and were extremely happy to have free flowing Fiji water bottles at our convenience in the
lobby
.

(Separately, I find the whole purple velvet/brown leather design to a bit Russian prostitute-ish) But on the other hand the staff was able to get me a reservation at Maialino (which was delicious), and the
lobby
bar is a great place to catch up with friends.

On the highs: friendly staff, excellent concierge (David Moreno), good location, spacious room for NYC, fancy
lobby
but deco in the rooms made us feel like attending a vampires party.
