1. If you're looking for a 'destination' hotel, you should probably look elsewhere, but if you're looking for a clean, very reasonably priced hotel in Manhattan with incredibly comfortable beds and a safe neighborhood, you simply cannot go wrong with this hotel.

2. It's a beautiful neighborhood and the local merchants are so friendly.
|
3. It is a bit away from the most touristy attractions, and is in a nice, bustling residential neighborhood that gives you a sense of what it's like to live in manhattan.

4. This felt like a neighborhood which was kind of cool.

5. Excellent, modern hotel, in a very good neighborhood, without beign too far from major attractions (eg Fifth Ave Shopping/Central Park etc: 15 min walk or 7-8$ taxi ride).
|
6. This hotel is located in the east end on 62nd Ave, in a very quiet neighborhood, just 15' walking distance from Central Park and around the corner from the East River promenade, ideal for a relaxing stroll.

8. Major drawback was proximinty to nearest subway stop at Lexington and 63'd which was a bit of a hike, but neighborhood seemed very safe and pleasant.

9. It's in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood, but as a tourist I like being in the middle of everything and you're not really near anything.
|
10. Some might find the location a bit too far East, it is after all in a residential neighborhood, but a bus right outside on York Avenue takes you across town on 57th St, one of the city's major arteries and a a convenient connection for other buses or subways.
