1. Our rooms had two extremely comfortable double beds in each and the benefit of a sink, fridge and microwave so we didn't always have to eat out which helped to keep the costs down a bit and there is a grocery store nearby.

3. at the time when I stayed here the cost was USD$178/night in late May which was an excellent deal, however it looks like the cost has gone up quite a bit since then.

Other aspects of our stay:1) What Worked Well - the room size, for 3 adults; the bathroom facilities; the in-room TV; the in-room fridge; the housekeeping services; the breakfast facilities; the helpful concierges (examples - help with using the subway, booking our ride to the airport); the computers in the Business Center - reasonable costs and very helpful when needed post-Irene; location for Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Restaurant Row and bars on 9th Ave2) Even Better If.

5. This was my husband's first visit to New York, so I wanted his experience to be positive yet not cost us a fortune.

6. For the majority of people who maybe just want to connect to read their emails this again wont be a problem but for business users who want to connect to remote PCs or even users who want to save on call costs by using skype then it simply isnt fast enough.
