1. It's ideally located a few blocks from Time Square, there's a subway station round the corner and plenty of bars/restaurants and even a supermarket close by.

3. We found a great Bar at the end of the street called the Delta serving Cajun food with live music though you do have to book a table.

4. Was also recommend the Bar/restaurant next door - Patzeria, didn't look like much from the outside but Staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was great.

5. The guy that helped us with our bags, recommended a nice bar on our first night there and he booked our transport to the airport when we left, all done with a smile, which is always nice.

Other aspects of our stay:1) What Worked Well - the room size, for 3 adults; the bathroom facilities; the in-room TV; the in-room fridge; the housekeeping services; the breakfast facilities; the helpful concierges (examples - help with using the subway, booking our ride to the airport); the computers in the Business Center - reasonable costs and very helpful when needed post-Irene; location for Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Restaurant Row and bars on 9th Ave2) Even Better If.

9. We stayed 11 nights at the Belvedere Hotel, we were recommended to it by a friend because of it's kitchenette and bar fridge which can be handy when your on a budget.

10. The Pros: great location, so easy to get to Times Square, subway 2 second walk, great bars and restaurants around, Great hotel service, rooms were very clean, some good views from either side of hotel (hard to come by in NYC).
